Gettin crafty

This baby room has given me time to do what I love most. And that is making things! I have made some cute appliquéd onesies, lots of hair bows and headbands, and different items like that. I also have been trying to use some things we already had and changing them up to work in her room! For example, this lamp. I think I maybe paid $8 for it a couple of years ago at Kirkland's (we all know they're good for cheap stuff like that). At the time, it was a good small lamp for our guest bedroom. When I started looking for a lamp to put in Madison's room, I quickly realized that it was going to be hard to find the right one, and when I found one that was close, it was never under $50! So I played around a little with some paint and fabric I already had. Then I found this amazing flower at Dallas market! It was perfect!

So this past week I finally got it finished and checked off my list! Here is a before and after! I also made a cord cover after I took the pic to finish it up!
