Me- I am Mallori. I write this thing. Justin has some input, but it's basically my baby. I have been a 3rd grade teacher since 2007. I love the school I work at and the people I work with, although the students can be "challenging" at times. I feel very fortunate to have been chosen to work at Southwind Elementary and I love the family of co-workers we have! I like to know lots about computers and do lots of crafty things. I basically enjoy finding things I can duplicate on my own instead of buy them. I don't necessarily do it as much as I would like because my schedule somehow always fills up. But I try.
Him- He is Justin. My husband. He is a pilot for Pinnacle Airlines and they operate flights for Delta Connection. (That's what is painted on the planes.) He is a great husband who gets things done. I feel extremely fortunate to have him as he is able to do almost anything, and when he doesn't know, he figures it out. He also has a business on the side with his brother called Patriot Defense Arms. They sell guns. Surprised?
Us- We are originally from the great state of Oklahoma! We were both born and raised in the same community and church.We have been together since 2001 and married since June 2007 which is when we moved here. We have a happy little home in Cordova, TN, which is a suburb of Memphis. We are involved in our church and have some great friends. We made the following family member addition in May 2010:
This is Bella. She is our wonderful, snuggly, soft, cuddly, lovable, little girl. Truthfully she is more of a momma's girl, but Justin loves her too. She is a Boxer. We chose a Boxer because they are known for being protective but really good with kids. I have absolutely no regrets about that choice! The neighborhood kids often come ring my doorbell asking if Bella can come out and play! I cannot imagine our little family without her! As you will see through our blog, she is our current child as we do not have actual children yet.
She has the softest most floppy ears. Hints the name of the blog ;)
She also has the fluffiest jowls. We call them quilted jowls.
