NYC 2011

When Justin was based in NYC in October, I went up there for a wonderful fall break! It was so fun to do a trip just the two of us and go explore a place I've never been before. Since he has many hours of sitting and waiting to be called up there, he did tons of research and found out great places to eat, visit, and do! We were able to eat at and visit some great places!

Day 1 Sunday-

-Visited Brooklyn tabernacle noon service

-Went to Lombardi's pizza for lunch. Ordered fresh meatballs on pizza.

-Walked around soho, saw famous stores.

-Walked up and down canal street and shopped.

-Walked down church street headed to memorial.

-Saw Occupy Wall Street protestors.

-Walked around seeing the sights.

-Stopped at Starbucks for a break.

-Returned to hotel.

We became professional subway riders.

Day 2 Monday-

-Ate lunch at Shake Shack.

-Went to TKTS booth and bought phantom tickets.

-Walked around times square.

-Went to 5th avenue.

-Trump tower

-FAO Schwartz where we bought our own muppet, Sherman.

-Walked through the end of central park.

-Ate chicken with rice from a food street cart.

-Went to times square forever 21 and Walgreens.

-Went to see the Phantom of the Opera.

-Went to times square McDonald's.

This was as delicious as it looks!

Day 3 Tuesday-

-Took sub to church street.

-Walked in old cemetery and looked in old st. Paul's church.

-Ate lunch at Pronto pizza/pasta

-Went to 9/11 memorial.

-Walked to battery park. 

-Walked down broadway to wall street and down wall street.

-Walked through town to the Brooklyn bridge.

-Went to century 21 department store.

-Rode sub to Katz's for pastrami on rye.

-Rode sub to coney island. No good. Walked straight to Nathan's hot dogs for hot dog and orange aid.

We had one more day, but Justin was on "Reserve" so it was a great excuse to lay around all day and recover from all the walking around we had done. We ordered some delicious chinese food and just enjoyed some time together to talk about what comes next in life!
