Half a Year!!!

This little lady is 6 months old. seriously. Half of a year. I checked her last night for grey hairs she is getting so old! She is just getting more and more fun every day!

Well, when we are not dealing with the throws of teething. That is a whole 'nother post.

But most of the time (80%), she is so stinking cute and happy!!

This is the first time she has noticed this thing next to her!

Here are a few stats about her.....
-15 pounds ( my last post said the same thing, but I didn't actually weigh her then. This time we did!)
-Still drinking bottles, but we have started 2 meals a day on baby food. This girl loves her veggies! Like her Mommy!
-we are starting to experiment with a little water in a sippy cup at "meal" time. she likes it. kinda.
- She is sitting up really well on her own! She doesn't push up to sitting up, but if you set her there, she stays!
- Talks. a lot. and says DaDa. I am jealous. and trying really hard for MaMa.......
- loves being outside and swinging! Last week we had some awesome weather and we spent some time outside, and she was so happy!
- loving Bella! She likes to watch and pet her whenever she comes close! I can't wait until she can throw her toys for her (instead of try to eat them herself, because that is not ok with me) because then she will really win Bella over! Bella is a little bit reserved and cautious right now, but it's only a matter of time until they are the best of sisters!
-I've also given up on the swaddle. Some might make fun of me for still using it, but I believe that if it's working, keep doing it. But it quit working. Boy did it quit working. She would fight that thing like a crazy person in a straight jacket. It's taking her a little time to get used to sleeping "free", but she is already doing so much better!
