A Colorado Christmas

After Oklahoma, we took another road trip up to Colorado! It had been 7 years since we had made that drive. We just couldn't imagine flying with Madison and all the stuff we needed for her, so we made the trek. The looooooong trek.

None of my extended family had gotten to meet Madison, so this was going to be a special Christmas! She was, once again, a great car rider!! First we went to my dad's parents house, and then my mom's.  Here are some pics from that trip!

Nap time with Great Grampy

Just hanging out with Great Granny!

Aunt Robyn is quite the snuggler! They were inseparable!

And we got some snooze time with Gramps!
4 generations on my dad's side!

4 generations on my mom's side!

a little morning cat nap in Great Grammy's lap

I mean really!
Then Madison got to go sledding for the first time! Dad pulled us around the house on the mountain and she loved it! Even though she was cold, she never cried!

That is a smile behind that little snap!

Watching daddy carefully

going down the hill!

of course we had to stop for some quick photos!

Then Gramps gave Daddy a break!

Warming up inside! She had fun!

There is nothing like getting to see your family! We only get to see them around Christmas, so it was so good to see everyone. The love they all have for our little girl makes me all fuzzy inside. She is one loved girl! I am sad we did not get any pictures from going out New Years Eve with other family! I truly cherish the times we get to see family. We are so blessed to have such great family on both sides and cannot imagine the holidays without everything everyone does to make them special!
